Giant Sculptures Made of Plants and Flowers

In Midtown Atlanta, Georgia - USA, there’s a very popular garden called “The Atlanta Botanical Garden”, it’s a 30 acres garden that’s been made year 1976, this garden contains some amazing huge sculptures that’s all made of plants and flowers, these sculptures are made of shapes like animals, birds or people.

The sculptures are all living-sculptures made in a very complicated process, they put a big frame that’s overlaid with a steel mesh that’s covered with soil and moss, and then it gets seeded with the plants and flowers seeds, these seeds get watered by a web of irrigation tubes, so it helps the sculpture to grow perfectly and always keep on being fresh and colored.

Incriduble Sculpture Of Globe Out Of Matchsticks And Paint

Andy Yoder Spent Over Two Years Creating A Globe Out Of Matchsticks And Paint

Sculptor Andy Yoder spent nearly two years on his piece, Early One Morning, painstakingly applying thousands of painted matches to create a globe with the implied potential to catch fire. The matches, which were individually hand-painted, recreate the continents and oceans, but also swirling weather patterns (of note, Hurricane Sandy is seen off the west coast of North America).

The wooden matches are connected to a food and cardboard base, held together by a plywood skeleton (as a precaution, Yoder covered the piece a flame retardant chemical). Yoder’s piece can be seen Winkleman Gallery at this year’s PULSE New York Contemporary Art Fair, May 8–11. (via from89 and junk-culture)

Sculpture Art: Fabulous Cemetery And Grave Sculptures

While cemeteries are often only visited after a loved one has passed, they also serve as important places to mourn. One very famous cemetery that is frequently visited for completely different reasons is the Staglieno in Genoa, Italy. Opened in 1851, the cemetery is filled with artistic sculptures that leave us with questions about our own mortality and our relationship with death. Famous historical figures including Friedrich Nietzsche and Mark Twain are said to have been fascinated with the Staglieno, ruminating over life's unanswered questions as they strolled through the hallowed grounds.

Sculpture Art: Mind Blowing Sand Sculpture Contest

Sand art is the practice of modelling sand into an artistic form, such as a sand brushing, sand sculpture, sandpainting, or sand bottles. A sand castle is a type of sand sculpture resembling a miniature building, often a castle.

The two basic building ingredients, sand and water, are available in abundance on a sandy beach, so most sand play takes place there, or in a sandpit. Tidal beaches generally have sand that limits height and structure because of the shape of the sand grains. Good sand sculpture sand is somewhat dirty, having silt and clay that helps lock the irregular shaped sand grains together.

Sand castles are typically made by children, simply for the fun of it, but there are also sand sculpture contests for adults that involve large, complex constructions.

10 Most Beautiful Art Sculptures Using Papers

Sculptures is really amazing things and designers also make sculptures for fun. Here we have some of paper sculptures. In the early days of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso revolutionized the art of sculpture when he began creating his constructions  fashioned by combining disparate objects and materials into one constructed piece of sculpture. Picasso reinvented the art of sculpture with his innovative use of constructing a work in three dimensions with disparate material. Just as collage was a radical development in two dimensional art, so was construction a radical development in three dimensional sculpture. The advent of Surrealism  led to things occasionally being described as “sculpture” that would not have been so previously, such as “involuntary sculpture” in several senses, including coulage. Actually Sculptures are made by different row materials. Here we have some sculptures made by paper. its really o beautiful and amazing.

Ron Mueck's Amazing Sculptures Art

Ron Mueck is a London-based photo-realist artist. Born in Melbourne,Australia, to parents who were toy makers, he labored on children's television shows for 15 years before working in special effects for such films as Labyrinth, a 1986 fantasy epic starring David Bowie. Eventually Mueck concluded that photography pretty much destroys the physical presence of the original object, and so he turned to fine art and sculpture. In the early 1990's, still in his advertising days, Mueck was commissioned to make something highly realistic, and was wondering what material would do the trick. Latex was the usual, but he wanted something harder, more precise. Luckily, he saw a little architectural decor on the wall of a boutique and inquired as to the nice, pink stuff's nature. Fiberglass resin was the answer, and Mueck has made it his bronze and marble ever since

Incredible Tree Sculptures Art

Uprooted trees lying here and there might not interest anyone. But with a stroke of artistry, these can be transformed into fabulous works of art. Since it requires a lot of hard work to make them well turned out, the acceptable masterworks are vocal enough to express their agony, relief or derision for what they have been morphed into. Just scroll through the wonderful sculptures after the break and try to infer the seemingly melancholic message.
