Eiffel Tower: Incredible Optical Illusion Video

An optical illusion (also called a visual illusion) is characterized by visually perceived images that differ from objective reality. The information gathered by the eye is processed in the brain to give a perception that does not tally with a physical measurement of the stimulus source.

There are three main types: literal optical illusions that create images that are different from the objects that make them, physiological ones that are the effects on the eyes and brain of excessive stimulation of a specific type (brightness, colour, size, position, tilt, movement), and cognitive illusions, the result of unconscious inferences. via

Unimaginable Magic Using Playing cards

First of all, what is magic? and what is the difference between magic and optical illusion?

Magic or sorcery is an attempt to understand, experience and influence the world using rituals, symbols, actions, gestures and language. Modern Western magicians generally state magic's primary purpose to be personal spiritual growth. Modern theories of magic may see it as the result of a universal sympathy where some act can produce a result somewhere else, or as a collaboration with spirits who cause the effect.

The belief in and the practice of magic has been present since the earliest human cultures and continues to have an important religious and medicinal role in many cultures today. Magic is often viewed with suspicion by the wider community, and is sometimes practiced in isolation and secrecy.

The concept of magic as a category separate from religion first appeared in Judaism, which derided as magic the practices of pagan worship designed to appease and receive benefits from gods other than Yahweh. Hanegraaff argues that magic is in fact "...a largely polemical concept that has been used by various religious interest groups either to describe their own religious beliefs and practices or – more frequently – to discredit those of others". via

So is this Magic or Optical Illusion

Incredible T-Rex Optical Illusion Will Blow Your Mind

T-Rex is a stunning visual trick or what so-called optical illusion designed by two young men from Britain.

T-Rex Optical Illusion Will Creep You Out And Blow Your Mind. This illusion is based on the famous dragon illusion which was inspired by Jerry Andrus. T-Rex Optical Illusion Will Creep You Out And Blow Your Mind. Never trust your eyes, because they LIE!

First time I kept telling my brain... hollow hollow hollow, see it as hollow and it worked :))
Second attempt.... Hollow hollow hollow... but my mind just reconstructed the whole thing and filled up the void hehe I lost. Funny how we think the world is exactly what our five senses tells us it is, when it could possibly be something we never dreamed of.

This amazing T-rex illusion is somehow moving its head to follow you.

As far as tyrannosaurus rex replicas go, this one seems pretty cheery. Sure, it has sharp teeth and claws but they look playfully toothy. One thing scary about it though: the head and eyes seems to follow you wherever you go. Like the paper T-Rex is watching your every move. What's scarier? It's not actually moving. How is this possible?

It comes from the tricky brain of illusion wizard Brusspup. Brusspup strategically created a T-rex design and layout that would appear to move when you moved. You see, the T-rex isn't actually 2D. And the T-rex doesn't actually have its eyes in all the right places.

Incredible BMW X5 3D Laser Mapping Show

The BMW X5 is a midsize luxury SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle) produced by BMW.

The first generation of the X5, with the chassis code E53, made its debut in 1999. It was BMW's first SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle), also known as "Four-by-Four" (4x4) in the UK, which featured 4WDall-wheel drive and was available with either manual or automatic transmission.

In 2006 the second generation X5 was launched, known internally as the E70, featuring the torque-split capable xDrive all-wheel drive system mated to an automatic transmission, and in 2009 the X5 M performance variant was released as a 2010 model.

3D Laser Mapping is a world-leading integrator of laser scanning technology for the mining, mapping and modelling industries.

All engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Its behavior—as well as that of the chassis—is governed by a number of settings bracketed by the efficiency-loving "Eco Pro" and aggressive “Sport+” modes. The former can decouple the driveline when the driver lifts off the accelerator without hitting the brakes, as well as tailor the climate control and heated seats for maximum energy savings. Sport+ heightens shift and throttle response, firms up the optional adjustable suspension, and remaps the steering. There are also Normal and Sport modes.

The new X5, which BMW insists on calling a "Sports Activity Vehicle," hits U.S. showrooms in the fourth quarter of 2013. The diesel version follows in early 2014, and there will be M Performance and M versions down the road. Pricing has not yet been announced, but we suspect it won't stray far from the current X5’s. Competition includes the Audi Q7, the Cadillac SRX, the Lexus RX, and the Mercedes-Benz M-class.

Incredible Optical Illusion causes temporary hallucinogenic effects

In 2012, Science Forum created a trippy video of optical illusions designed to produce natural hallucinogenic effects after viewing. I can attest that watching the video does, in fact, trigger temporary dizzying effects (they seem to go away in about five minutes). Be sure to view it in HD and in fullscreen to start the wild optical ride.

Hallucinogens are a general group of pharmacological agents that can be divided into three broad categories: psychedelics, dissociatives, and deliriants. These classes of psychoactive drugs have in common that they can cause subjective changes in perception, thought, emotion and consciousness. Unlike other psychoactive drugs, such as stimulants and opioids, these drugs do not merely amplify familiar states of mind, but rather induce experiences that are qualitatively different from those of ordinary consciousness. These experiences are often compared to non-ordinary forms of consciousness such as trance, meditation, dreams, or insanity.

Creative Forced Perspective Optical Illusion Photos

As we have written before, Perspective photography is a technique that employs optical illusion to make an object appear farther away, closer, larger or smaller than it actually is.

It is used primarily in photography, filmmaking and architecture. It manipulates human visual perception through the use of scaled objects and the correlation between them and the vantage point of the spectator or camera.

When Perspective is mixed with Creative minds , we could find these magnificent miracles that will get you lost a bit, dream or even imagine many different visions.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes this ain’t exactly right. Distance overlapping, positions, and timing can sometimes create a brand new perspective of a photo. This weekend, we want to show you 100+ Funny Photos Taken At Unusual Angle, a compilation of photos taken at the exact right timing and angle, thus creating a humor side of the story; intentionally or unintentionally.

The optical illusion image that deceived your mind

To create an optical illusion image is not as easy as you thing.

This is one of the most amazing optical illusion tricks, this trick  deceived your mind to color an black and white image after concentrate on a saturated colored image for a while. Just look at the dot in the middle of this image and don't look anywhere except the dot in the image, after moments a black and white image will appear but you'll not see it black and white, you will see it colored.

How our brain translates the first image to combine the colors and to arrange it to see colored black and white image.

Physiological illusions, such as the afterimages following bright lights, or adapting stimuli of excessively longer alternating patterns (contingent perceptual aftereffect), are presumed to be the effects on the eyes or brain of excessive stimulation or interaction with contextual or competing stimuli of a specific type—brightness, colour, position, tile, size, movement, etc.

Tights Dance, The Most Amazing Optical Illusion

This is one of the most amazing video optical illusions  using color contrast throw dancing, for the first time you might think that there are dancers but olnly their legs is appear.  This type of dance is a German dancing under the title Strumpfhosentanz - a German word which means "Tights Dance"

If you google about the keyword "Strumpfhosentanz" you will find a lot of videos of this type of dancing.

The song is officially German and is called "Hiss - TANZ" and after some checking it may be that there is a heavy German influence in the Cajun music I have heard. Turns out the most prized accordions in that are the German. However I doubt the Germans play the washboard, I could be wrong.
